Information added into SystemWeaver is primed for use and reuse. Integrating information enables using the information entered, e.g., test cases are developed from requirements. In addition, when information has been created there are no limits in SystemWeaver to how many times it is reused. The same components, requirements, test cases etc. can be used in as many projects, products as needed.

Since it is the same information that is used and integrated between disciplines, waste in terms of keeping redundant information and manual steps in order to achieve consistency is avoided, i.e., there is no need to perform double work. In addition, since all information is integrated within SystemWeaver, information can easily be found and accessed.

Having a strong semantic in the meta model also enables leveraging information added to SystemWeaver. Traditionally, information are added by humans to a specification tool to generate information used by humans (read to perform another step in development). Keeping a strong semantic of information means that information added to SystemWeaver can be used to generate information used by a computer, e.g., generating AutoSAR from a design model in SystemWeaver to configure an ECU platform. This avoids double work in that there is no need to manually create an AutoSAR representation from the design model. This also leads to higher quality of deliverables since if the model is consistent, correct and complete, all outputs from it will also be.
